Absolutely brilliant for a 3 year old, similar to Blackpool/bridlington/any seaside town haha x
It's fine to explore, we do a lot of staycations and the kids love it. If you're driving there are a load of beaches along that coastline and a few nature reserves that back onto beaches too. Our best investment was a beach tent and I highly recommend it. We went to pakefield with park holidays last year.

It’s my local beach I think things are only just starting to fully open up But there’s a sea life centre, a fair, lots of arcades, bowling, a lovely new swimming pool, various bits And I’m sure you researched you could probably find soft play etc too It’s a bit run down here and there but I have lots of great memories as a kid going there!
