@Emma I thought so it's another loophole his using to evade child support. I got no chance of obtaining a contract! He claims his in financial hardship but £250 per month goes into company shares, alleging this is mandatory.
Can you agree a cash out percentage when they vest/ mature? Must get something back at some point?
At year five his eligible to cash out
Some banks do it as part of their pay package and it isn’t optional. It can also include things like pension and reduced health cover, which also isn’t optional 😂 kind of a way to prevent increasing salaries but still giving benefits
I clicked ‘yes’ but i meant yes it’s an excuse not to increase child support.
@Kim he definitely has annual pay increases and quarterly bonuses and he chose the amount he wanted to contribute from what I remember
Yeah my husband gets this too but it’s committed for 5 years, I think if you sell early there’s a penalty
@Kim thank you Indo believe he may have a 5 year clause but my question is can he reduce the monthly contribution as I'm struggling financially and he offeres breadcrumbs voluntarily despite a decent salary.
Not if it’s part of the pay package, or at least my husband can’t
How much do CSA say?
@Emma CSA says 650 he currently pays £150, I asked today for an increase to £300 and he told me there's no way he needs to find a part time job / illegal activity accompanied with a string of emotional blackmail.
Just go through CSA then… he can’t deny his earnings then! Let me get a part time job and then get more 😂 Sounds more like won’t pay than can’t pay
@Emma I'm trying to be reasonable but his forcing my hand completely. I'm doing him a favour and he refuses to take the olive branch.
Stay firm & just do it… if being reasonable hasn’t worked then your hand is forced… we can only do so much!

In my company if you are very senior you are required to own shares in the company. When I say senior I mean like the most senior 6 people, CEO, CFO, COO etc
@Naomi thanks with some digging I managed to find a generic document which stipulates alterations can be made to monthly contribution and a minimum of £10 stands.
Purchases are always optional, unless you are sacrificing salary in exchange for shares… Ask for a copy of the contract?
