Postpartum preeclampsia
I had my baby a couple of weeks ago and ended up with postpartum preeclampsia. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know much about it.

@Brianna my blood pressure is at very unsafe ranges like 180s/115. Labs show protein in your urine and change to your liver. They did the magnesium treatment, and I had like 20 pound of fluid on my body. Now I'm having to take a high dose of blood pressure medication, and idk when my blood pressure will be resolved. Usually, when you're pregnant and have preeclampsia, it'll resolve within a few days. Idk if postpartum preeclampsia does or not
I was just diagnosed with post partum preeclampsia too!!
@Cheryl of it makes you feel a bit better, I'm 6 weeks postpartum and coming off my blood pressure meds now. It gets better
Did you have bad headaches during those 6 weeks?
@Cheryl yes :( they eventually eased up between 3 and 4 weeks

How do you know you have postpartum preeclampsia? I had preeclampsia during my pregnancy and had to be induced at 37 weeks, been about 2 weeks now but I check my BP every so often and it's still kind of high.
