I'm in the same boat. My breastfeeding group I go to said it's the night feeds that are the issue mostly. Gotta try stretch the gaps to 6 hours between night feeds to reduce the hormones. Easier said than done. I'm also considering getting hormone levels checked at the GP or privately if need be through blood tests just to confirm all is good/check levels for where we are at.
I'm down to 2x milk feeds one before bed and one when he wakes up and have been for around 2mnths now, I still haven't had a period, im seeing hv today for 1yr review so going to ask them about it 🙂x
@Jill ah I see. I’m still on 4 feeds a day. How did your health visitor check-in go? Do share any advice :)
She said that the chances are not less likely to get pregnant because of breastfeeding & it won't change my fertility just the chance of a period, people's bodies are different and a period may not happen until completely stopping breastfeeding x
