Bubbles!

This might be my most stupid question so far, but I want to buy my son some bubbles but every time I look for some it says not suitable for children under 3 years old - is it the bubble solution that is not safe or is it because the kits come with small parts that are a choking hazard?

I was gifted one and she wasn’t fussed about them. I blew them over her when she was in the toddler bath. Should have taken them outside last week whilst it was ☀️ I’ve given baby toys for 18+ months and 3 years - but always under supervision

I blow bubbles for my little girl loads. As long as it's not eaten and the parts are kept out of reach I don't see the issue with bubbles

Can you tell I’m an anxious mam lasses?? 😅 I thought it was to do with the bubble mix but then I took him to a class and they had bubbles and my son loved them so then I wondered if it’s the small parts with the bubble kit. Like you’ve said I can just make sure he doesn’t get his hands on the kit, along with all the other things I’m wrestling off him every day 😅 thanks ladies x

@Deborah you can make your own bubble mix with fairy liquid and water. I can't remember the ratio but we used to it all the time as a kid

Ah thank you I will look into this ☺️

I don't give my baby the bubble wand as j believe that and also the solution is not suitable for baby. But blowing bubbles is fine. Mine loves bubbles. She screams with happiness when I get the bottle out now. She doesn't go for the wand for bottle though. She just sits there trying to eat the bubbles and tries to grab them

Yep definitely been overthinking this one haven’t I 😅 as long as he’s not chugging bubble mixture or trying to eat the kit we’ll be fine haha thanks ladies x
