Help🫠

Sooo I’m 35 weeks and I have high blood pressure and told my doctor and I’m doing monitoring twice a week now but they ran labs and I have no protein in my urine and blood work was a tiny bit off but honestly pretty normal. They also did an ultrasound and my little guy is totally healthy. So like obviously that’s good news but the issue is I am physically deteriorating to the point that I’m finding it hard to work and do my normal activities. I have tinnitus and completely blocked ears, diarrhea like all day, incredibly swollen hands feet and face, exhaustion, such bad joint pain I can hardly walk, nausea and have been seeing stars since the beginning of pregnancy. I feel like I have all the parts of preeclampsia besides the protein and bloodwork🫠and so they haven’t diagnosed me with it yet. I kind of don’t know what to do and I’m sick of going in and having them tell me everything’s normal like I don’t feel normal I can hardly function. I’ve been trying to advocate for myself but if this is truly just normal stuff I guess I just have to wait until this baby comes out??? Idk this just doesn’t feel right and I don’t know what to do. Baby’s health is #1 I know but mama’s health is teetering right nowšŸ˜ž

I’d get a blood pressure monitor from Walmart and check it frequently throughout the day. That is what I’m doing. I’m also 35 weeks, but have been in bed rest since last week due to my blood pressure being all over the place. Good luck!

That’s why we are considered ā€œdisabledā€ at 36+ weeks! At least in California we are allowed out of work because it’s literally so physically and mentally taxing to be pregnant at this point, i feel like every hour i run a marathon. Today i was cleaning and washing the car seat textiles and reinstalling the car seats and it truly felt like an Olympic sport. My dad even jokingly asked me if i needed an oxygen tank because i was just huffing and puffing around with normal daily tasks. Being pregnant is HARD! Especially the last few weeks. I would recommend getting a BP cuff at home and checking it at home to monitor it closely, but alot of the symptoms you describe can happen with OR without preeclampsia. Hang in there, you’re almost at the finish line! And as always, trust your gut and advocate for yourself ā¤ļøā¤ļø

I was feeling very similar to you a couple weeks ago (I’m also 35 weeks pregnant) and I ended up cutting out sugar and simple carbs, I feel soooo much better now! Like insanely good it’s crazy to even compare the amount of energy and pain I was feeling prior and now I’m back to nesting comfortably and going on walks getting good sleep and feeling fairly normal during the day obviously I’m still pregnant lol and feeling the pelvic pressure from her and all the other fun pregnancy things but the things you listed I was having an issue with now I’m not. I would totally recommend you try it if you can!
