Being a single mum is always going to be hard mentally but you have to say resilient. I had people left right and centre saying theyâll be my village once my baby is born but my daughter is also now 4 months and it was all just talk. My mum is sometimes available and my friends have all changed on me. Making mum friends was the best thing I did and I only have 2 who actually support me both with my daughter and emotionally. Sometimes you just need that one person. Donât get me wrong though it is very lonely. Sometimes we go out and visit people but when we get home, those nights are lonely because youâre alone with your thoughts while little one is asleep. During the day when youâre being a mum and doing your routinely activities, it hits you that youâre alone but it wonât last long. I donât know how it is in the US but we have mum & baby groups in the UK at our local libraries. Try making some mum friends and planning play dates. It may not be a significant difference but sometimes-
just spending a few hours with someone else who has a child can ease the load.
I can't imagine to be in your shoes, and my thoughts are with you. Hope you get all the love you deserve in this world! You are not alone, you are a strong mama!
@Boots2Assesđ„Ÿđ so baby daddy is a special level of crazy and we are hiding from him. And sadly if I had other family I can go to I wouldnât be in this position with my cousin đȘ
Have you spoken to your cousin? Without putting expectations just saying, you feel like it's all too much and you can't keep up with everything?
@Trainette haha yea. Weâre moving out because not only she wasnât helping but she makes a total slob of the house and doesnât pick after herself. I blew up in the middle of the night about this few months ago and we decided to move when our lease ends and she avoids me completely since then

â€ïžso sorry to hear youâre going through that⊠Iâm not sure of your situation with the father of the child but is there anyway he can help or is he just fully nonexistent? As far as Family goes, is there anyone else near or was your cousin the only option? There are a ton of support groups but that only goes so far. I was a single mom for a while, and it is definitely hard but the support from family helps. Also if you want to message me Iâm here to lend an earâ€ïž
