Suddenly refusing food

My LO had been eating well, mostly BLW but would also take a spoon if offered. He is usually very curious, would always inspect by squishing between his fingers and try pretty much anything offered to him. But suddenly the past 3-4 days he’s just gone off his food, refusing to try it at all. He’s got a cold but then he’s had colds before and it’s never impacted his eating. The only thing he would have is toast. I’ve tried offering him different flavours, textures but nothing seems to be working. Any advice?

My son has been like this lately and I think it's teething so I tried some purees for dinner and he's eaten those really well. He's been snotty too so I don't know if he also has a cold or if the teething is causing the snot 🤷🏼‍♀️

My little girl is the same teething. She has a teething nose is what I call it like running clear all the time (not like a proper cold) xx

My wee boy is the same, just throws everything. Will only eat purees and pouches

My boy is the same, pushing my hand away when spoon feeding without even trying it. I try to put some on his lip so he can taste it and if it's something he likes he will take it, usually yoghurt, but otherwise doesn't want it or will have 3 spoonfuls then nothing else. I think he's also teething. I have read that it's common for babies around this age to push things away so maybe that's playing a part too x

My little girl become like this when her teeth where coming through x

This is exactly how mine gets when teeth are on their way. She will only pick at food but will happily have milk and yoghurt.
