Scared!!!

Hey moms!!❤️ i’m due march 20th and just had my doctor appt yesterday the 13th. My doctor told me the baby is measuring perfect and that he feels about 8lbs!!! i been in so much pain especially getting in or out of bed, sitting or standing up. They did schedule me an induction for the 25th of march. I’m so nervous because everytime they try to check me to see if i’m dilated or not it hurts so bad i move plus his head is so low and my uterus is high up. Im genuinely really scared to have a C sections and he doesn’t want to come out!!

I was so scared to have a c section too my boy was scheduled at 37 weeks 6 days so I had him yesterday and he is doing amazing and I thinking I’m recovering well I didn’t want a c section either but I couldn’t dilate and had to have him out by 38 weeks due to extra fluid! Just know when you hold that little one it will be worth it!! Hope everything goes well 🥰

If it helps, for my first kid I had to be induced at 39weeks,and I was also completely closed and the baby was high yet so I was really nervous but it was actually a very wonderful experience for me and after they softened my cervix & broke my water I gave birth fairly quickly & naturally like I was hoping for! Just try to stay positive the best you can! I know birth in everyway is scary and I’m the type that if it can go wrong for me, it usually does so I just thought I’d offer a positive induction story because I hear so many horror stories for induction that it feels like it will definitely go wrong but that’s not always the case! I hope you have a wonderful and peaceful birth!

@Hannah Ballard oh wow awww!! congratulations mama!❤️yes i can’t wait! thank youuuuu

@Kelly this was definitely helpful! everyone has been telling me horror stories and then i start to stress and overthink. I definitely have to think positive but even when i do it’s something that always happens! reading this did help me, thank you so muchhhhh!❤️❤️

I got induced with my first at 41 weeks and needed help getting my cervix softened so it would dilate and it worked and I was able to deliver vaginally. This time, I’m getting induced at 40 weeks. I’m only 1cm dilated and 30% effaced but baby is very low in my pelvis. Some people don’t dilate at all until they’re in active labor, other people need a little help getting the cervix going

This was my situation—I pushed for 4.5 hours and they even tried a vacuum extraction, but he wouldn’t come out and I needed a c-section. It really was not that bad! The worst part was the shaking from the epidural, honestly. But with the epidural you also don’t feel any pain, and if there are any complications the doctors will get you loaded up with the meds you need right away via IV. I won’t lie, the first few days of recovery were painful, but it gets better each day and pain meds help a lot. I’m 6 days out now and feeling much more mobile. Feel free to DM me if you want to chat more about it!
