Not eating

Over the last week my baby has eaten less and less each day and today he’s eaten almost nothing. He’s had a few blueberries and a fruity bar. He had about 6 oz of milk this morning and he’s just had 7 oz now before bed. But that’s it!! He’s refused all his favourites, wouldn’t even have a bite of banana! He’s a little bit grumpy but nothing major and doesn’t seem ill. What could this be? Do I need to worry?

Could he be teething maybe? 🤔

Having the same issue, she just spits everything out. We've discussed dropping the snacks or at least reducing them and dropping daytime milk to see if it makes a difference. X

Same it's been a hell of a week. Today I realised my son is cutting two top molars at the same time so I'm putting the grumpiness, clingy behaviour and lack of eating down to that. His sleep pattern is completely off too. It's exhausting!

He could potentially be teething. 🤔 When teething impacts eating is it because their gums are sore or does it also just lessen their appetite?

Could be a sore throat. It's going around xx

Same same same! Little boy is 14 months and is teething back molars for agessssss. Honestly and it's just peaking through not even fully out there yet but he's back on his food thankfully. I reduced snack in the morning and his morning milk feed by an ounce and this seemed to do the trick.

My LG is the same. She will only eat the odd bits of fruit and Yoghurt but main meals have been a nightmare this past week. I definitely put it down to teething as she has lots coming through now x

@Clair yeah so I managed to get a little look and he is 100% teething but am still a bit worried with how little he’s eating. Seems to be getting less and less each day. All he’s had today is fruit, cheerios and a couple of snack bars! Hardly a healthy diet but he wouldn’t touch anything else.
