Depends what it is. But no more than 48 hours
Most recipes I use tell you you can keep for 2 or 3 days in the fridge (depending on what it is) and 3 months in the freezer
I mostly stick to 24-36 hours but that’s just because I only make 2 portions at a time x
Maximum 2days and if not eaten on the second day it gets thrown out end of the day
Maximum I leave it is 2 days
