Weaning baby

Hi all, my baby boy is 8 months & not interested in food. He will pick up & eat melty sticks & puts toys in his mouth all the time. But is uninterested in food. He will sit with it in his mouth & spit it out. We sit with him at every meal & I have tried it 3x a day for exposure. Any tips please? Or is anyone experiencing the same? I have a 4 year old who took to it straight away!

I am by no means an expert and my daughter loves to share food with us. Can I ask what you're offering him and when it's offered?

Same here! I don’t even know what to suggest at this point, she started at 7.5 being more interested now going backwards, only thing I can get into her is pombears and cheese atm x

My little one is the same. I thought it was the lack of flavour. So I’ve started adding cinnamon to fruits like apples/pears/bananas and that’s working well. As for food, I’ve had to mix cheese into everything, however, this doesn’t always work xx

I feel like I could have written this! I have an 8 month old and he’s so not bothered. Will happily be fed yogurt/ purées but not interested in BLW or anything with lumps. I’m at a lost end. Have exposed to soooo much, he acts interested, picks it up, waves it around and drops it again 🙈 I have a 3 year old who was easy to wean and pretty much ate anything and everything. Really struggling this time and not sure what to do! x
