@Yari P. Number as math ? 😅 did you started off working from home ?
@Julie yes math. No. I started my jobs on site then went off site for 3 yrs
I’m taking the class rn for it. Some say it’s a hard job to get, others say it’s super easy and in high demand
@Ali it is a high in demand job, but you need lots of knowledge. The classes teach the basics. And then when you actually work sometimes it's a bit complicated. Some companies just throw you in it expecting you know it all. Others are willing to teach you a bit of their books. Just depends on the company.
@Yari P. Oh dang, I’m good with the terminology and stuff but I’m not that good at math or at least it’s never been my thing.
@Julie that's what billing and coding is. It's all about math since you have to learn how to charge patients with the correct procedures/exams, plus you have to learn every insurance and their deductibles, Copay, coinsurance all that stuff
@Yari P. Yea I mean I’m ok with it as long as is not like complicated math I’m fine with the basic stuff, idk honestly I think I can do it but I seen other people saying is hard to get a job from home as your first they always want experience on the field
@Julie yes. That's typically true
Where can I take the course for billing and coding ?
Full time hours. Sometimes OT or working after hours. Not hard if you understand it. Lots of terminology and need to be a number gal.
