Pull Up for Poos at Night Time

So my son has been potty trained for pees for about 4-5 months. I simply cannot get him to go on the potty or toilet for poos. He usually does his poos when he gets his pull up on for bed. A few weeks ago I asked the HV for advice - she said he has trained his body into pooing in the pull ups every night & will never learn how to poo in the potty while a pull up is on the scene. So I removed his pull up for 2 nights, he was soaking wet twice through the night both nights & I’m not sure I could keep up to the washing every night! I’ve read that you can only really start night training once they start to be dry through the night? So will training my son how to poo in the potty have to wait till he’s dry at night? Who knows when that will be? He’s just turned 3 a few days ago. We are thinking of really focusing on the poo training at Easter when we’re off for 4 days in a row but idk. Anyone been in a similar situation?
