0. The mum talk drives me mad 🤭😂
I’ve gone a little mad on classes! We do baby massage, 2 different sensory classes and swimming each week. I’m already looking at what to do next term! We will carry on with swimming and one of the sensory classes at least but I find it nice going somewhere almost every day of the week. X
I do 1 swimming class, a sensory class or playgroup, pilates (I do the pilates but with other mums and baby joins in if not asleep and a walk with other mums x
We were doing baby massage on a Monday but that finished this week so I'm starting a mum and baby workout class on a Monday. Tuesday I got to a baby and toddler group. Wednesday I go to a buggy walk and baby group and Thursday I go to a buggy walk and breastfeeding support group. His dad takes him to swimming lessons on a Sunday. I find it helps not make the days feel so impossibly long getting out to things
We've got baby massage then after that ends I booked the sensory ones. Then we go to a group most Thursdays. Then the rest is just walks or popping to see family and friends. Or us at home.
We do breastfeeding club, sensory, baby yoga and then probably at least 1 stay and play session a week, often 2. Looking to sign up for the next block of buggy babes as something for me
U guys are pro mums! 💪 im lucky if im out the house once a week but increasing now… classes wise im going to do sensory class as and when there is space! And will go to free stay and plays soon And i do a coffee morning on most Fridays. And breastfeeding support groups about once every fortnight instead of taking this 2nd baby to classes,im going to take myself to classes with them, like at the gym… i found for my first, i would pay for a term but he would be sick or asleep in classes a lot and it wasnt cost effective
I do 1 and it’s actually just for the toddler to go have a play and she either asleep or being rocked by a another mum to get her back to sleep
Mommas where and how do you find these classes?
@Marieta I use Happity
@Marieta my health visitor recommended one and then I asked the other mums there what they going to and what they enjoyed
Baby massage and BF group but not every week. Also.sometimss call to the library for story and rhyme time
@Marieta FB and word of mouth mainly, if you follow your local council’s family page (think most have one), they usually do a lot of signposting, and your algorithm usually quickly follows suit x
We’ve been doing baby massage, baby sensory and a sort of coffee morning type thing for mum with <6m olds. Plus my husband takes her to story time at the library in a Thursday so I can go to the gym. The baby massage and sensory terms are about to finish so I’m not sure what our plan is for after Easter. Might start swimming lessons.
I do 2 sensory classes and 1 coffee morning, then maybe a walk with another mum. Hopefully going to start swimming soon too!
