pic of my girl for attention đź’—

my daughter has started eating big girl food at daycare and unfortunately that’s the only time she eats it because i’m scared to give it to her myself so she still eats purées at home. she has done really good with it at daycare but my mama heart is so worried i’m gonna do something wrong. so far she’s had pancakes, eggs, fruit, and spaghetti and some others. she is 8 months old. just a little advice or some encouragement to kind of help me get the courage to start doing it at home.

First take a cpr course if you can. Then learn the difference between choking and gagging. Also use the soild starts it’s on online Facebook instagram , app. Let her fed herself it’s safer than you feeding her. Chicken strips is a good item also cooked veggies like pepper strips or broccoli and carrots cooked.

Solid starts is a good app for this.

I would start with all soft foods for peace of mind and solid starts helps tell you how to serve things. I started with steamed vegetables and moved from there. And now last week my girl was chomping on a steak lol

I made my baby muffins using oatmeal wheat flour and all sorts of fruits and veggies! It was so easy for her to chew and break... but you got this, and it's ok to just keep it at purees, maybe add oatmeal to make it fuller?
