Weaning start help!

Hello everyone, We are due to start weaning soon, and I'm nervous! I will be making most of my own stuff, but does anyone have any recommendations for baby porridge suitable for CMPA? Just for the start of it 🙏 Thanks in advance

I’m following this also as I was going ask this myself xx

Standard porridge oats made with milk of your choice. You can always blend the oats first if you want it to be finer. I mix mine with fruit puree to add flavour.

We bought a big bag of oats to mix with his formula. We'll also be adding fruit to it for flavour

Just normal porridge oats will be okay! My sons CMPA and we do that and mix it with oat milk and some formula xx

Normal porridge oats, and weetabix is also fine.

I just used porridge oats and blended them to make it smooth initially then used oat milk and some other nut milks when ready to introduce other allergens xx

I use ready brek as it’s high in calcium and use oat milk with some apple and pear puree my boy loves it probably his best meal of the day.

We were told to use ready brek by the dietitian as it’s more heavily fortified.

Thank you so much everyone!
