@Lottie he's having 3 bottles. A few weeks ago he was only having about 30-60ml out of each but now it's approx 90-120ml of each but it can vary quite a lot.
My boys fussy sometimes so I’ll make us both the same thing for lunch and he usually just eats of my plate: even though it’s exactly the same thing mums food always tastes better 🤣
Something I've found with my little girl, is if I try to give her breakfast in the morning she doesn't want it. She just wants milk. But if I try her with breakfast after her first nap 9/10 she'll have a full weetabix. So maybe play around with when you give him the food? If he's hungry he may be more likely to eat? X
Does he show interest if you’re sat on the sofa say having a snack? I found if my little girl was going through a fussy stage refusing food when in her high chair I sit on the sofa with something she can eat and if she comes to me I just feed her that way 😅 x
@Shannon yes that might be worth trying x
My little girl would rather just stand up at the sofa and eat off my plate then sit her chair sometimes 😅 give it a go and see how you get on x
Typical for them! Especially at this age they are testing our patience lol. It is extremely frustrating and my boy went through a long phase of only eating yoghurt and smooth purées but I kept persevering with offering finger foods of different types and he’s got much better in the past few weeks. I found just leaving something in a bowl on the floor where he’s playing would get him to try new things, so it was no pressure of set meal time and almost like he’s found a hidden treasure lol. Still A LOT of foods he doesn’t like but slowly adding new ones he does. As long as they are putting on weight I wouldn’t worry, they are good at knowing what they need. How many oz is your baby drinking?
