Introducing Foods

My son, Niran, was born on Oct 9th and we've been slowly introducing soft foods like mashed potatoes, and French fries (we of course assist with the fries right now) are there any others that I could possibly try before we get closer to transitioning to more solids?

Avocado, banana

Apple sauce, carrots, sweet potato, banana, squash…. My little has enjoyed them all

We’re starting too! Avocado and banana are next up on our list. Our little guys likes yogurt!

Wow my August was born on the same day! Bday twins! My pediatrician recommends everything especially foods that people are allergic to - e.g peanuts etc. the only thing not to introduce is honey I forget the reason but I’m sure google has the answer

My bbygirl was also born 10/9! We haven’t introduced any food yet, I’m too nervous to start lol

Pears my son loves them and they have been helping him go to the bathroom since starting

@Julia we started by mixing a little bit of purees with his bottles (like 1oz food to 4oz formula) it helped fill him up for longer periods in the beginning and we just watch how he reacted to each new one. He hates apple but loves all the veggies

the solid starts app is really helpful.., you can look up just about any food and they show you how to prepare it and when you can offer, and they give you advise on possible allergens/choking hazards. it’s based on baby led weaning though, so it won’t really suggest you puree, but is a helpful one as you are comfortable eventually transitioning to solids
