I just feel sorry for them, because they work on commission. Most of them are sweet young people, micromanaged by the big corporations.
they may work on commission, but they also chose that occupation. they have the option to leave if they're not making enough money. they may be sweet but at the end of the day, their job is to get your money and move on to the next potential customer. the money they make off of you won't make or break them. 🩷
Generally sales jobs are some of the few that take people with little experience or qualifications because it doesn't require a consistent monthly salary - so many who are unemployed or did not have money for an education take on these roles, so had no other choice. Of course no one deserves to be forced into spending or do it out of pity. It's best to consider their context and kindly decline 💗
Just walk away. I worked sales, and while it's tough when people won't talk to you, it is a waste of time to talk to somebody who doesn't want to buy whatever you're selling... Kinder to just say no and move on with your day
I'm an absolute sucker for a nice sales person. I have to say no thank you and carry on from the outset otherwise they have me hook, line, and sinker 😅 have so much crap I regret buying for this reason. The only ones I don't mind are the people working for charities going door to door. I donate to one charity at any one time- after roughly a year I'll switch when a nice sales person with a decent cause asks me to!!
Just say no thank you not interested and move on lol. You don’t have to give in to them.
Oh yeah def getting worse with calls and ppl stopping you to advertise some garbage, you're not imagining things. I just say I have an appointment and leave when they try to to talk to me.
