Just FYI it was the Vegan Caramel Biscuit cake I ordered from Lola’s . Maybe a fruity one might taste better!
@Suzanne thank you! I actually checked Lola's and fir their vegan range they actually advise about cross contamination for those with allergies. Would be an amazing option as I ordered from them previously but my daughter is severely allergic to egg
You’re welcome! Cross contamination will always be a risk to be fair and bakers can’t ever really guarantee otherwise unless that’s the only thing they do (like cake box I think?) I’m so sorry to hear that your daughter is severely allergic to eggs. It must be such a struggle to make sure she eats the right things unless they are homemade. My SIL is going through the same thing with her boy and I can see how stressful it can be, especially when they are toddlers and trying to understand why they can’t have certain foods. @Suzanne thank you so much ! Yes, hence why I was looking for a place that only does eggless, it makes cross contamination less likely and some sort of piece of mind. It is a pain as I constantly have to remind my family 😭 but so far so good, I'm constantly on top of it, just trying not to get paranoid

Have you tried Lola’s cupcakes? They do eggless cake online. I did order once from them but I wasn’t massively into it as I personally didn’t like the texture (I’m a cake snob lol) but others didn’t seem to mind.
