Food recommendations?

Hiii so I’m looking for food recommendations for my 7 almost 8 month old healthy options and she’s a very picky eater so I’m also looking for tips on how to offer her foods she doesn’t like veggies and I’m so lost at how to get her to eat them my other two girls (4 & 1 years old) love veggies but my almost 8 month old hates them so any tips and suggestions on how to get her to eat veggies and healthier foods is greatly appreciated xx

Definitely worth trying to ‘hide’ them, blend or grate veggies into pasta sauces etc and I make grated carrot and apple cakes for my wee girl using banana and some flour to bind it all together (you can even pop a berry into them before baking for extra fruit intake) x

Scrambled eggs are good, you make make a tomato pasta sauce with hidden veggies (chopped tomatoes, 1/2 red onion,1/2 pepper of choice, mushrooms blended then add a big spoonful of extra heavy cream and some herbs of choice. Add to pasta and voila, always a winner with my son) Broccoli omelette (2 flouretd brocoli, 2 eggs, handful of cheese and 2 tbsp any flour blended and cooked as you would an omelette, just tastes of cheese) Or just try give soft cooked veg, add to mash if she likes mash

It can take 10 tries for a baby to realise if they dislike something so I would definitely keep trying with the veggies and offer different ones. it could be a texture thing that she doesn’t like so different ways of cooking could be worth a shot. Hiding them is a great idea too. You can make oat bars in the microwave with fruit and veg in which are pretty healthy.

Make the main part something she likes then add to it. So if she likes sweet potato make some fishcakes adding just a little plus some blitzed up peas or sweetcorn. We make sauces with courgette, tomato, mushrooms, peppers and variations. Mine also loves spinach, pea and cream cheese sauce. Veggie muffins are a good shout too.

You should just keep offering veg alongside things you know she likes. Hiding veg just encourages them to be more fussy, at this age it's not true fussiness, but learning.

i hid veg up a lot by chopping them really small, spinach and scrambled egg is a good hit for me, i’d also recommend things like veggie tots with cheese so they don’t taste the veggies even chicken nuggets with veg in x

You’ve gotten a lot of recommendations for how to hide vegetables. Here are some foods my girls love: -Parmesan couscous -Strawberry yogurt -Sausage gravy with biscuits (I’m American) -egg bites with pepperoni -teriyaki meatballs and rice -cheesy pasta with chicken and peas

Thank you ladies all these tips are so helpful and so appreciated definitely gonna try them x
