Induction at wigan

Hey guys. I've just been booked in for a induction 31st March (i will be 39+2) due to baby's growth tailing off last 6 weeks. I had/have very negative views of induction only based on what seems like very negative stories. This is my first baby and had dreamt of spontaneous labour and a water birth but that feels far from reality now. Does anyone have any insight of how their induction went at wigan ? Thankyou- very anxious over here ! 😅

Hiya! I had my little girl in 2022 at Wigan I had an indication at 39 weeks also. I loved my experience I was told negative stories too but don’t let them put you off . I went in at 2 the gel was in by half 2 I had another at 9pm but my partner had to leave at 9 that was the only bad thing . But I only went into Labour at like 12ish my birth was only 44 mins! I loved it the midwife’s were so lovely ❤️ I was home 6hrs after too. Hope everything goes smoothly for you and baby❤️❤️ xx

Thankyou so much for your reply. So encouraging to hear such a positive story ! Xxx
