Smashed avocado, let her suck a banana, grate apple and carrot together, let her suck apple slices and cucumber. You got this!
I give my son all different fruit; banana, sliced grapes and blueberries. Avocado, peanut butter, scrambled egg, cream cheese on toast. The kiddlicuous veggie sticks and wafers are great for teaching them how to hold food and feed themselves with their hands. Greek yoghurt with any sort of blended fruit and let her hold the spoon and feed herself. Hope this helps
They don’t need teeth! My girl has had all kinds of fruit and veg, rice, chicken, prawns, steak, pork ribs, gammon etc
My girly has what I have 3 meals a day x
Same as @Tiff my LO has 3 meals a day and exactly what I have. Tonight we had fish pie, last night chicken chow mein. They definately don't need any teeth to chew and the sooner they move to solid food to learn to chew the better, whilst their gag reflex is furthest forward to help prevent choking
You don’t have to make it complicated with intricate recipes (unless you want to) things like well done toast without crust, cucumber sticks, well cooked potato and carrot sticks, broccoli, banana, watermelon. You can serve alongside mashed up food that has a wider variety of ingredients. It took a while for LO to find his mouth but he’s great now although still doesn’t eat that much. A lot of it goes on the floor 🙃
Teeth don’t matter. My 1st never had teeth until past 1 year old. Their gums are strong enough I just give mine whatever my eldest is having at dinner time and whatever we are all having for tea. Breakfast is always rusk mixed with his milk, weetabix or omelette, with fruit
