@Sarah do the doctors prescribe it or do you need to purchase it yourself? I wonder if I should have a chat with my doctor first.
I need to purchase myself. It was a private dr I spoke to through my work private health. I did go to my nhs GP to ask about mounjaro but they said they couldn’t advise me. I haven’t decided whether I’m going to take it yet.
I was taking it before I got pregnant. I lost 20kg in 4 months. I plan to take it again in the future.
@Harri what side effects did you get? Did you exercise alongside taking it. I’m worried about losing weight too quickly and the excess skin!
Yes I am! I have been on it almost 7 weeks now and I’m 1 stone 12lbs down. Have had minimal side effects, just slight nausea and that’s it. I am happy to answer any questions if anyone has any. X
No (not yet) but I spoke to a doctor this morning who recommended it for the sugar dips caused by pcos and thyroid that I have.
