Rant

Hey mamas, I just feel like ranting. With the current cost of living being so high, I feel like I’m getting to point where I’m gonna loose it. I am a mom of a 14month old, I work full time and it’s just me and her. The monthly bills just keeps increasing, my salary only covers our monthly bills, I have to use my overdraft to do our monthly and weekly shopping. And the cycle continues and it feels like I am stuck! In as much as I try to be very prudent with my spending, I can’t even afford to buy myself an ordinary body spray to Atleast smell good , I mean it’s that bad. 😔 😢 Anyone else in the same situation like me? Also, does anyone know about any job a mum can do on the side, like a WFH kinda job for like a day or two in the week. Something to cover nursery fees☹️

Check to make sure you're claiming everything you can be with the job centre (child benefit etc). Unfortunately, since the cost of living crisis began, most of the tried and true tips for being frugal aren't working as many like yourself are in their overdraft to live 😭 Have you thought about approaching your local food bank? They can help with more than just food.

Definatly check on entitled to to see what your entitled to claim.

See if you eligible for household support fund in your area & Family action grant . Contact citizens advice for help
