Looking at maternity clothes online. In maternity line, should I buy my regular size (S), or bigger size due to pregnancy? For example for leggings/ trousers. Thanks for any info ❤️
Maternity clothes account for the bump, they usually have rouching at the sides or the top of the leggings or the fabric on top of skinny jeans, to accommodate the bump so go for your usual size, you only go up a size if you’ve gone up in normal sizes. If you are still an S in normal clothes but just need more bump fabric then buy an S. I was an XS and I still bought XS/S maternity skinny jeans and the fit fine. But I could only wear them pregnant coz as soon as I gave birth they fell down on me coz they’d stretched lol so I couldn’t wear them Pp (jeans, not leggings I don’t wear leggings so you might still be able to wear them Pp)
It also highly dependant on the company, I bought a pair of maternity leggings at ASDA Living in my size and they fit great, but I got a pair of maternity leggings from a different company 2nd hand and I couldn’t even get them over my butt lol
