Yes I’ve had really bad experiences and felt so disrespected if you need a chat message me xx
I reported the lack of support and care to pals xx
Thank you for your replies ❤️ I’m sorry you were both also treated terribly. I went once during my first pregnancy and remember it being ok so feeling really shaken up and angry about it. I definitely don’t ever want to have to go back or now even have my baby there. Some of my favourite quotes were “well if you were in that much pain you would have taken paracetamol” and “it’s probably just a UTI” … ok great so next time I’ll just mask the pain with drugs and not seek help or question WHY I’m in so much pain?!
i’ve been told so many times to just take some paracetamol when i told them i have and taken multiple doses and it still hadn’t helped they would ignore me and walk away!
I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my son. I had really high blood pressure my whole pregnancy and I was at high risk for preeclampsia my midwife told me to go in if I experienced any form of headache or vision issues because of the risks. The consultant and some of the midwives were so dismissive and rude any time I went in (I had to go in 3x a week to have my BP measured
The whole maternity experience at mk hospital was awful
yep! i feel i’ve been treated that way everytime i’ve been im 37+5 and have high blood pressure and all symptoms of pre eclampsia but yet they tell me im fine even though i feel so awful, i had reduced movements and they put me on the monitor i told them i still wasn’t happy and i waited for the doctor only to be told as long as im feeling baby move then its fine! which is not the advice they give when asking you to come in? so now i’m unsure what to do as it’s always mixed messages with them and everyone else in the hospital.
