I’m 12 weeks and haven’t announced yet, you also don’t have to tell work until 15th week before due date

@Shaianne I haven’t either. Im waiting longer maybe around 20 weeks

I want to wait for as long as I can to tell work but I want to get my free appointment without using annual leave so I will probably tell them when I'm around 16weeks

We told most people when we found out at 5 weeks. But I haven’t told work yet as I’m waiting for 12 week scan next week for accurate due date. My managers then on leave so I’ll be telling them when I’m 14 weeks x

Told my manager at 8 weeks as sickness is horrible and literally can’t close any tickets and super tired. He even guessed it already as my productivity was dropping slowly so had to tell him. It’s so hard to keep things a secret when sickness hits you n you can barely do all the things you used to. My family are already guessing too 🤣 as I am missing lots of activities that I’d normally organise. Waiting to till them by 12 weeks too. Will officially tell HR by 16 or 20 weeks.

All appointments have to be accepted and time give to you legally. X

Told my parents and my in laws plus the siblings at 8 and 9 weeks. Everyone else sporadically from this weekend (11 weeks) depending on when we are seeing them. Waiting until 12 weeks, it’s personal preference but historically it’s because people wait until after the 12 week scan to get it medically confirmed. I’ve had a few scans already at 6 and 8 weeks. But waiting until 12 weeks I think is becoming more a thing of the past. I say, you do you and don’t feel pressured to follow what the “tradition” is. Tell people when you want to, not when forums or society says you should. Xx

I told my sister at 4 weeks 🤗 told my manager at 9 or 10 weeks because she was planning my work and I just wanted to be honest that I can't commit to any multi-quarter projects. Told a couple of close colleagues because was not feeling well. Planning to tell my family and friends and husbands family this weekend finally at 13 weeks ☺️

I’ve told my parents and in-laws because it was IVF, my boss knows because of all the appointments I had, and a friend knows because I’m a bridesmaid for their wedding in June and she wanted to buy dresses lol.
