When did you find out your SMP entitlement?

i found out via my employee handbook as soon as i had a positive test so if you have one, check that, should outline somethings for you x

So I technically should be entitled but there are a few grey areas because I’m an agency worker. I’m just waiting for the official confirmation so that I can be sure I don’t have to apply for maternity allowance from the government! Thank youu for your reply x

Hi lovely, I work in Payroll so can help you with it if you are unsure. The other thing you can do is the online HMRC maternity calculator. It asks for your due date and then you put in your earnings from certain dates, it’ll then tell you. If you need any help feel free to message me!
