Currently going through the exact same, little one used to eat anything and everything until almost a month ago. We have always given food she can pick up with her hands and up until this week she’s never used spoons/forks herself. Over the past few days I’ve had to revert back to pouches for some meals to get something down her (we stopped pouches from the new year). However, I’ve found that if she uses a spoon to feed herself then she will eat whatever’s in front of her but will refuse to eat if I try to feed her. I may be late to the party with her learning how to solo use cutlery but it’s made a big difference to her eating this week. It’s messy and we’re having multiple baths a day but I’d rather that than the worry of her not eating xx
Yea same boat over here. My Son was eating fine until he turned around 9months then he decided he did NOT like and type of food except ONLY fruit pouches not vegetables, yogurts and wotsists 🫠🫠I have to tackle him for him to even put a piece of potato in his mouth. He is still breast feeding however so I think he’s still getting a big chunk of nutrients from me. I was debating making an apt with the GP to see when would be a good time to seek help from a dietitian cause he can’t go on like this forever. 😔 your not alone momma!
Yep! We've had an awful weekend eating wise. She hasn't had 1 proper meal. She's just snacked and grazed. Things she liked 2 days ago, she now spits out and refuses to eat. It's been so hard. She's 15 months and just seems to prefer pouches. We offer her new foods every day and she gets into such a state if she doesn't want it. She never has been great ever since weaning. She's a very beige kind of gal! 🙈 if it's not yogurt, raspberries, banana or crisps, then she's got interested x
Same she hates finger fruit she even hates me no idea why she choose daddy over me this morning😭😂
Am in the same boat or she’ll throw everything on the floor. It’s very rare she will actually finish a full meal x
