Funded by the nhs. Sometimes they have to send cases to private hospitals but they fund the bill

Funded. Nhs is free at the point of use for everyone with right to live & work in the Uk

So sorry to hear that and hope you’re recovering well. It’s funded by the NHS so please don’t worry about some massive bill coming your way. X

Everything is funded by the NHS if you went to a public hospital. Although, because I'm scottish and live in England, I've had a bill twice for hospital procedures, I had to just email them a copy of my ID for them to verify I'm a British citizen. And to be totally honest, I would have gladly paid the, very small, price, for birthing my baby, they bill was like £1300 or something.
