Help

My LO has her 4 month appointment and will get shots tomorrow. I took off work in case she needs to stay home after the shots. But I’m trying to decide if I should send her to daycare and get stuff done at home for the first time since she’s been born or keep her home and snuggle. What would you do?

Keep her home and snuggle❤️because it’s a lot for their tiny bodies to handle and they also get fevers and become fussy.

Keep her home and snuggle..

Typically the symptoms of post vaccine don't start for 12-24 hours. You probably have a little wiggle room to get some things done, but I would let nursery know to give you a call if she seems uncomfortable so you can get her early if need be.

I kept my baby home the day of the vaccines and he was fine most of the day, slept a lot. But I sent him back to daycare the following day. He tends to not nap long at daycare and I wanted him to get the rest he needs. But you know your baby best.

My daughter will nap fine at daycare. At home she only sleeps on us but at daycare she can take a good 2 hour nap in her assigned crib. And she is usually fine after getting shots, just sleepy.
