Ovulation test confusion

This is my first month using LH tests and I’m really confused as there getting lighter! Is this normal? I do have pcos but have been having pretty regular periods for a couple of years now. I haven’t ovulated yet ( I don’t think ).

Also my cycles range between 4-6 weeks long x

Yes, it's totally normal for going low and then getting higher. Test 2 times a day one in the morning, then in the evening. Most people test between 10 am to 8 pm they try to do it at the same time each day. I do 7am as my second pee and then between 6pm to 8pm. Xx

@Kirsty ah thankyou very much that’s really helpful to know! I will start testing twice a day x

No problems, don't panic if you get low, then go high, keep testing, as that means you are getting close to your peak and I would test couple of days afterwards just to make sure you hit your peak. The tests needs to be darker then the control for it to be your peak xx I do test my bbt as well, first thing in the morning before I do anything along side ovulation tests as well xx

@Kirsty thanks so much, I was thinking about tracking bbt too so may do that along side! Xx

It's ok. It took me a couple of months to get used to what I'm looking for. I'm still trying to get pregnant. Have been looking at the clear blue ones to test alongside, but they are a little bit expensive for me at the moment xx Everything is crossed for you

Just to clarify, you don’t need a peak to ovulate like everyone thinks. You only need a slight surge for your ovary to be triggered, I got pregnant with my highest being 0.55, a lot of women don’t realise this.😊

@Sophie thankyou very much that’s really helpful to know! Xx

@Kirsty yeah I also looked at the clear blue but they are expensive! Thankyou so much and right back at you, best of luck! Xx

You’re welcome xx

@Sophie I didn't know that either, thank you xx

@Kirsty no problem!!🥰 just take what highest number you get and that’ll be your surge but make sure you keep testing to make sure levels stay really low afterwards!😊 xx

Yeah always do when I'm testing xx
