Funding - HELP!

@Lauren me and my LO are going to start work / nursery end of May. It states I need to apply for the funded hours the term before (before 31st March) but also says that I can’t apply until 31 days before I’m due to start back! What should I do? Sorry to pester!

It has to be the date you start back after maternity. And yes, they do check so if you put your original work start date pre pregnancy your claim will get rejected. If you start work in May, you’ll have to apply for the next round of funding dates (not the 31 March one).

Start date with the company, even if you’re on maternity leave you’re still employed by them!

I put the start date I started with the company which was in like 2021. Mine went through that day.

Date you were employed by them even if you are on maternity you are still employed and further on they will ask if you are on any sort of leave x

I think you’ll miss the funding for the April term and you won’t be eligible until September. As well as little one’s age you need to be in work for a certain date for eligibility.

I also put the original start date of employment as you are still employed while on MAT leave and had no issues

You'll miss the cut off and not get the funding until September cos you can't claim until 31 days before you go back. On this section they want the original start date with the company.
