Does anyone have any tips or advice on dealing with interviews with a newborn baby? I literally had a zoom interview and my baby started crying right before I logged in. I’ve been looking for work from home jobs that are mostly chat based or overnight shifts since I was laid off during my maternity leave. anyone know of any jobs that are hiring for that specific?

I was also laid off during maternity leave. Scheduling interviews in the beginning was rough, but I always made sure to schedule interviews 15 minutes after I knew my daughter was going down for a nap. I’d also call either a friend or family member to see if they could stop by for 30ish minutes just to watch the baby monitor real quick

😭 he was barely put down for a nap and I had the laptop set up and everything and 10 mins before I was suppose to login , he cries 😭😭😭 being laid off is the worst. I had a good job that didn’t require calls and then bam! 4 years down the drain

I was doing interviews with my newborn. All I did was apologize and tell them you have a newborn. It became an icebreaker and they were more than understanding with me. On a video interview I was holding her while she was sleeping.
