Progesterone or not?

I've previously had 2 chemical pregnancy's (1 from Natural conception and 1 from failed IVF) and had another failed IVF in Jan 25 (so recent) by some miracle I've got a positive test this month, but when asked the GP if I should take progestrone pessarys, as I have loads left.. its feels a bit like "yeh ok".. has anyone taken them for their natural positive. xx

I would ask your fertility clinic

now it's not IVF they don't wanna know me and said go to GP. who an admins gone yeh take it

Can you consult any other doctor ?

tried EPU this morning, still waiting for them and the GP to call back. NHS are 🐌 slow. ive taken the pessarys, just gonna do it

I would probs take it to if I was you. Surely it can't cause any harm?

I would take it. I had a loss when I got pregnant naturally and still regretting to this day that I didn't use my spare progesterone as soon as I knew I was pregnant.

hmm, I've heard of some people taking them after a positive test, especially with past losses, so it might be worth a chat with your doc again, just to be safe! xx here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says.... "I'm sorry to hear about your previous experiences, and it's understandable to feel anxious about this new positive test. Progesterone pessaries can be beneficial in supporting early pregnancy, especially after previous losses or IVF treatments. Many women do use them after natural conceptions, but it's important to follow your GP's advice tailored to your specific situation. Have you experienced any symptoms or concerns that make you feel uncertain about this pregnancy?
