My baby had a fall lord I was terrified new mom 🤦‍♀️ ❤️ 👶🏾

My son is so busy I pay very close attention to him but hey u no boys will be boys he’s adventurous and learning he loves to jump and climb high and low I made my house as safe as possible no corner edge tables plenty of space to move around and play lots of pillows and comfy fluffy rug yet he goes around all the safety places and still manages to get into danger spots lol. He goes under the dining room chairs and tables and under I can’t keep up with him in those tight areas as I’m washing the dishes which I can see him from kitchen open concept house I turn around after hearing a thump he falls off the recliner chair he attempted to climb fully but broke his fall on the way down thank God he didn’t hurt his head severely . Smh I ran over applied a cool towel with ice to prevent any swelling he’s 💯 fine no lumps or scars he jus frightened his self and it was a bit red he’s fine now but that scared the hell out of me . I turn my head for one second in he’s hurt mommas can u relate we gotta watch these kids at all times I’m happy he’s safe and well amen 🙏🏽 the fall wasn’t bad . It’s hard keeping up with these babies especially boys .

Girl i know this feeling all too well 😪

I don't know how old your LO is. My is nearly 2 years old and has fallen off so many times. I was and am terrified every time however I got understand that falls are something that can't be prevented. They are needed for them to learn what's dangerous and how to climb properly. Being overprotective is not always the best.

My 15 month old son is the exact same. Looking for danger even in areas where it shouldn’t be but somehow manages lol they have to learn though 🥲

@Lori girl 🤦‍♀️ terrifying lol

@Brittany yes ur right he has to learn eventually

@Livia he’s 1 and gets into everything I allow him to explore but he was screaming when he fell it’s terrifying but yes he’s fine this is not his first fall maybe his 5th or so but I just don’t want him to hurt his self seriously but he’s fine

Boy can I relate, my lo fell from the stairs, stairs that this boy climbed multiple times daily even carrying one giant toys or the other. Worst of it was that I was heavily pregnant and thank God I didn’t go into early labour from panic. I will still suggest to have your lo checked out by a paediatrician doctor just to make sure he’s ok. As we noticed days later that my lo one was running temperature and even though we couldn’t tell if is related to the fall or not it just got us worried. Thank God he was checked out when he fell and after when we started to notice the temperature rising.

@Misky girl it’s a hot mess these boys or kids In general they don’t give us a break lol 😂 they so adventurous lol but it scares us to death seeing them hurt they self yes I check him out he’s doin fine it’s jus i gotta keep my eye on him at all times now today he was in the laundry room i need to lock the doors with something . 🤦‍♀️ glad ur baby is well and doing fine .
