My nine-year-old daughter‘s face is having a reaction with this skin care line! Anyone else experience the same?

So my nine-year-old daughter has just got this bug up her butt to start buying skin care products from Ulta and using them. She just got this new kit after shopping with her aunt’s and she’s been using it, but recently I noticed that her cheeks are getting extremely red and it’s not going away. I know it’s attributed to the skin care because we didn’t have this issue ever before the bubble skin care was introduced. Anyone else have similar experiences or any insight on the skincare line?

I don’t have any experience with this brand personally. I have see. parents post online about similar reactions on their children’s faces. Might be because a lot of their stuff is targeted towards acne prone skin. Could be too harsh for someone her age. Hoping it clears quickly, never fun having a skin reaction.

This is why I tell my stepdaughter to stay away from any skincare until she’s a teenager or actually needs it. Their skin is too young and sensitive to be introduced to this stuff. I would stop using altogether. I hope she feels better soon 🫶🏼

@Brittany I hate how a lot of brands have prayed on tweens to buy this stuff. I’m a skincare junkie and some of this stuff doesn’t need to be anywhere near skin under the age of 18. I’m pretty sure this brand is marketed towards younger skin which is great in theory, but gross af if it’s causing reactions. Planning on putting baby moisturizer in a fancy bottle if my 7m old gets interested in this stuff in her tween years 😂
