Fallopian tube removal?

I am talking to my doctor in 2 weeks about getting it done. Any ladies have Fallopian tube removal and have any issues? And how fast was the healing process? My biggest concern is them making a mistake and taking my ovaries because I don't want to go into immediate menopause

I had mine removed 7 years ago. I don’t notice any difference with not having them anymore. Idk about the healing process because it was done immediately after my C section

I also had mine removed 7 years ago. I was still able to conceive. The healing ❤️‍🩹 process was quick less than a week, a little pain nothing unbelievable. I have 2 little marks on each side of my lower stomach from the laparoscopic removal .

no immediate menopause, I still had my son 3 years after the removal. And i had an emergency surgery because I had an ectopic pregnancy.

I had a bilateral tubal ligation. And honestly I regret getting mine done only because it caused me to have mild to moderate anemia due to how heavy my periods got afterwards. Before the surgery my periods were long but not so heavy. Now they are short but heavy

@Nay wow that's insane I thought there was no way to get pregnant after a tubal ligation. Pheww don't scare me lol

@Essie , I honestly thought the same but I got pregnant few times after.I made sure I asked not that I had a choice because I almost died because of the ectopic pregnancy . Dont mean to scare you

@Nay that's great information to know though. Cause you know doctors say its a low chance for you to get pregnant and its rare. Did your tubes reconnect or open?

I lost both of mines from ectopic almost died with the second one life after the first one was normal got pregnant a year later same thing but almost died from it but health wise after healing has been great incision itch every now n then but life is good I still have everything else but only way I can get pregnant is from IVF

I got a tubal ligation 6 weeks after having my second born (July of 23) It was 6 weeks of healing and I haven’t had any issues. The surgery was in the morning and I was home that afternoon will pain medication. The healing duration wasn’t too bad

I had mine removed 9 weeks ago during my c section . No complications at all beside a little bit of pain but I think that’s normal since I also had c section . It took me 3 weeks to fully heal

@Essie I only have ☝️ one tube left , it did its job thankfully I was able to have my son . Proper diet and exercise I had no issues getting pregnant.

I had it don't almost 4 years ago. No problems!
