You can make an foippa request. Google it and "British Columbia" and it will bring you to a government website :)
Make sure you request doctors notes as well!!
Thank you!
Of course!! I'm sorry for what you must have went through and i really hope you find answers. You can make complaints through the Canadian college of physicians if you were treated poorly.
Go to the hospital and fill out a release of info form or download online and mail or fax it in but you don't get anything that fast. It's essentially first come first serve so you just get in line. Wait a couple months and follow up if you hear or get nothing. I work in health records btw so this is the actual process for hospital records oh and the form needs to go to the hopsital you need the info from of course (where you were seen)

@Parveen I just did that! Great good to know I did it right lol. I found a form to request my personal records and filed it in asked for all the details says it can take 30 business days so hopefully I actually hear back.
@Pearl it was definitely scary and I barely remember anything because I was in and out of consciousness so have no idea what actually happened. So I’m glad I can actually get all that info
We just went to the health records office in the Hosptial and they gave them to us for a price since my package of paper work was a lot of pages
You should be able to request through your GP
