First birthday
So every other weekend we go to my partners parents which is 2 hours away so they can see our LO and we can see my partners son.
So the weekend we are supposed to be at his parent’s house is my LO 1st birthday.
Am I in the wrong for wanting to spend it at our house? We’re only going to have a little tea party with my friend’s kids and her cousins which are similar ages and she interacts with weekly.
Her birthday is on a Saturday so I said we could go up on the Sunday morning till Monday🤷🏼♀️

@Karen his parents would come but the son’s mum won’t let him come to our house. She never even lets him come here just for the day. It’s difficult
noooooo! not wrong at all! driving 2hrs every 2 weeks with a baby is more than enough! you're doing so much for them, they should be telling the sons mum to stick it and driving up themselves for your little ones birthday!!
