Get away

Wish I could get away from my house. Away from kids that don't listen, away from kids that won't pick up toys, away from kids that can't figure out what a bathroom is, away from a house that's a mess, away from my life.

Noone said having children would be easy. And certainly raising children is not easy. The way we as adults want others to extend us the courtesy of patience and compassion, we should further extend that to our children that we chose to have. it 100% does get frustrating though and I get it. The mind is a powerful place so you need to not allow it to continue to suck you in to darkness; fight to focus on the light- on all the things you should be grateful for instead of all the things that aren't right just now. We need to get out of our own heads which can bring us into the pits of depression and try even harder to focus on positives, focus on love, on what we can do and do just that. If you have a partner or family get them to helo so you can have a breather and regroup. If you are your own village just now you need to take a moment when you can as often as you can. Everything will be okay. Take it one day at a time. We can't afford to fall apart. Keep your head up. Stay strong. xx

Sounds like you need a break. Do you have someone you truly trust that can watch the kiddos while you have a night away to just rest?

@Bee no all my family is in a different state plus one is my kids doesn't sleep though the night so I have to be home. Also have to do school with kids.
