Cheap meal ideas?

I’m on a really tight budget for food shops since my partner changed jobs, can anyone recommend some cheap easy meals for tea times? My kids don’t like wet food so ideally nothing too soggy😬😂

What age are your kids?

Filling crescent rolls with any type of protein & cheese lol https://kidsactivityzone.com/pizza-crescent-rolls/

Burrito bowls - rice with spiced beans and corn or another veg

Mixed bean chilli. Make a mild version for the kids and spice it up for yourselves. It freezes well if you make a big portion and you can eat it so many ways - with rice, jacket potato, nachos, as a quesadilla or burrito.

@Star they’re 1 and 3 xx

@Parker 又 Thank you!

@Emmo Thank you xx

@Kirsty I didn’t even think of a chilli! Me and my partner love a hold chilli, my kids won’t eat this though! Although i try my hardest to get them to have wet foods they just won’t touch them😩😩my 3 year old is so picky xx

😀 we do too! Will they eat it if you disguise it? My 2 year old loves it if I blend it up and mix it through the rice then add cheese and either turn it into a burrito or quesadilla she can pick up to eat. You could mix just a little with the rice to start so it stays quite dry and increase in the future? X

@Kirsty I could try this! My 1 year old might go for that, my 3 year old has such a bad relationship with food so she may not but i could always give it a go thank you xx
