Single mamas

My husband moved out today. After a fight he said I should "leave his fucking house" to which I said fine. Bc I can't tolerate such treatment. A few moments later he suggested that he would leave since this is our kids home and it's better for them to stay there. I agreed. We have almost a 3 year old and a little May baby that is about to turn 1. This is my second husband. I didn't think it would hurt so bad again. I feel so disappointed and like I have actually let my kids down by not providing fully functioning family. He said we will figure out details later as in visiting kids, finances everything else. He rented an apartment and signed a lease for 13 months.

I know this feeling all too well, I know you’re hurting. You need people to lean on during this time. There’s always someone who is familiar with the pain you feel. You’re not alone. You gotta be strong for those babies because they need you. Things are very intense now but they won’t be forever. Hang in there 💖

@Maliah Thank you for your kind words. Truth is there is literally nobody. I am a foreigner in the USA with 0 family. I would probably just leave USA with the kids but I don't think that's on the cards, he obviously wants to be involved, so somehow I will need to be okay with all of that. This is going to be very challenging time.

It is challenging but it won’t be forever. If leaving the states is what YOU want to do, then there can be a conversation you have with your husband. He can still be involved you don’t have to alienate him. But you also don’t have to make yourself miserable

I’m sorry you’re going through this hunny. Stay strong and bravo to you for standing up for yourself. Look at like this. What are you teaching your children by staying and tolerating the way he treats you. What would you tell your children if they were being treated in such a way? You’re going to get through this and be better!!! Stay strong. You can do this!! I’m here if you ever want to talk.

@Maliah I appreciate your support so much. Very grateful.

@Tiffiny your words mean a lot to me. Thank you for supporting me.
