Ladies do you think this is normal/fair or exploitative? My husband (now separated) refused to pay for any of my expenses or mortgage in the house under my name but also wanted me to be a stay at home mom and work odd hours.
He also made over 6 figures with minimal expenses and could have covered all the bills. Our child is 2 but since she was 1. I am also very frugal.

I would be going to a lawyer and seeing what are your legal rights to alimony
@Lyss thanks girl appreciate this tip. Thanks to everyone that responded, seems like my feeling is consistent with most people’s reaction. He wanted me believing it was the norm but couldn’t cite any specific example couples.
