Calorie deficit like I don’t eat clean at all but I try eat just like 2 meals and just hot drinks fill me up too haha!! But walking lots!!! As the saying goes you can’t out train a bad diet x

Cutting the carbs works

My food is the missing piece. I need to sort it out. Doesn’t matter how much I exercise it won’t matter if my foods not right. Ugh so hard getting the discipline back x

Be in a calorie deficit (a proper calorie deficit where you actually work out calories for everything that goes in your mouth, including the oils etc you use to cook, butter you spread on bread, sauces, mayo etc etc - because if you don’t those small things add loads of calories without you realising and you won’t end up being in a deficit.), three meals a day making sure each one is high in protein/fibre….this will keep you full until your next meal and you’ll find you won’t snack in between meals and drink 2-3L of water a day. Planning your meals in advance helps loads as you know what you’ll be eating and keeps you consistent. I use my Fitbit app to log all my meals and I do this at the start of the day, that way I stick to what I’m supposed to eat and won’t go over my calories. X

Calorie deficit and a good cardio routine (not everyday!) lately, I’ve been using the app HitMeal. It helps me a lot keeping track of my macros :) my goal is to gain muscle, but you can reach yours as well! You got this!

Annoyingly as it may sound you need to plan your meals/ snacks/ treats so you're definitely within calorie deficit. You need something everyday that you're going to look forward to. It needs to be realistic, not idealistic/ perfection because nobodies diet is x

Thank you everyone. I lost 8.5stone prior to having my daughter and just finding it hard getting back into it x

I’m a massive foodie too! I found what helps is if I have the same breakfast and lunch every day so I know exactly what those macros are at least and also saves me from having to plan as I don’t have time for that lol. I’ll carry on eating whatever family meals in the evenings maybe have a smaller portion but I’m not cutting out a chocolate bar if I want it either. It’s about making it sustainable too as if you suddenly cut out everything it’s not fun! Just make sure you’ve always got balance on your plate - high protein, some carbs and lots of veg! Xx
