Anyone else excited to almost be done with pregnancy?

34 weeks pregnant today and whilst I'm grateful, I've been sick more times than I can count and still being sick once or twice a week in this trimester, have pregnancy rhinitis keeping me up at night and have coughed my lungs out so much they're bleeding, my gums feel like they are on fire and are also bleeding. Had such bad pelvic pain the other day I could barely move, still have the horrible metallic taste in my mouth amongst a myriad of other symptoms. Whenever I complain all I get from people is 'this is the easy part just you wait' but honestly I can't wait to be on the other side and have some relief from all of this. I'm barely sleeping as it is!

I feel your pain, I’m awake most of the night still being sick and the heart burn is unreal. I can’t wait for it to be over and her to be here now.

I'm trying not to get too excited just yet. My first was almost 2 weeks late so I didn't do myself any favours counting down to my due date. Could be another 8 weeks and thats a loooong time...

@Paulina Good point 😅 ah well I guess everyday is 1 step closer

Baby’s back to back at the moment so getting terrible back pain I didn’t have last time. And a toddler to look after. It’s a lot harder BUT it’s not a summer 40 degree heatwave like last time so my feet haven’t swelled as much. Every silver lining eh.

pregnancy tired it’s worst then newborn tired trust me especially the first week you can stay without sleep all night and still be full of energy with all the adrenaline you are going to have after birth try to rest as much as you can the last few weeks are really hard baby it’s putting on a lot of weight and it’s take a lot of energy from us

@Stephanie Oh no back pain is never fun

@Ambra This is consoling me ❤️

Pregnancy sucks. I haven't enjoyed it at all. I don't believe the newborn phase is harder at all. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. It will be over soon. Xx

Yes I am EXHAUSTED! I have the worst back ache and my hips are killing too, I can’t wait to meet baby but I’m also ready for my body back 🥲

Yes! I can hardly walk now and get lightening crotch too. This will be my last pregnancy though so I’m trying to make the most of it

YES! I cannot wait to not be pregnant. I have hated not being able to feel myself. It is horrible watching your body change and you have no control over it. Not to mention all the aches and pains whilst feeling so restricted. I am so excited for my baby and appreciate this blessing. But that shouldn’t mean we suffer in silence! It’s good to speak up and be honest about our current situation. You are not alone in feeling this way! 🩷
