Congrats! Some advice: be patient with yourself! You did not fail cuz you had a c section. It’s easy to fall into that mental headspace. If the hospital did not get you one I highly recommend getting an abdominal binder. They are a godsend. Avoid elastic around your midriff for a while. It can actually make it hurt more. Take things slow. Each day gets a little better after you get home. Don’t be afraid to get some counseling if you find yourself struggling with everything. It is a traumatic experience I just had my second c section on the 27. If you’re wanting more kids don’t let this first experience scare you.
