Test looks lighter today 8dp5dt

8 do5dt and been getting some good line progression with premom and frer. My afternoon tests tend to show darker but from comparing fmu there's still been a difference. I opened a new pack of premom today easy at homes and today's seems lighter and took a while to develop. Should I be concerned or can this happen between different boxes of the same tests?? These tests are unpredictable . I took a strip tests it was so faint and my clear blue early test was a definite line . I tested 9dpt I would just get a better test . Also my strip tests were still light and my Beta was 500 on day 12. Perhaps invest in a better test to avoid unnecessary anxiety . I then would stop testing until beta as you will drive yourself mad but If you are going to keep testing, do it very 48 hours first urine if the morning . It take 48 hrs for the HCG to rise each time .

Thank you. I'm definitely driving myself mad. I'm just so nervous as I'm so desperate for this. I took a long time to develop then it looked a bit stronger then it dried lighter so I've just decided to ignore it. I've been using frer too but my fmu are so light with it. I read biotin from prenatal can cause this so started doing them on an evening and my lines are pretty strong. I'll maybe just stick with frer for next few days thank you for giving me some piece of mind x

I don't have any blood work my ivf clinic said I would just be booked in for a scan passed 6 week mark so it's a long wait x

Wishing you the best of luck . As it stands you have a positive. Just breathe and know it’s absolutely not in your control now. You are pregnant. If it is driving you mad you absolutely can request a beta blood test from your clinic or GP. I know the worry is crazy but remember those tests just tell you, you are pregnant , they are not there to tell you how pregnant. Once I got a super strong test reaction .. and my beta was low .. this one I got a light reaction my beta is super high .. it’s not a good measure of anything more than a positive pregnancy. Which you have. Right now what matters is Congratulations you are pregnant 🥰💕

@Bex thank you. I definitely needed to hear this and funnily enough I said the same thing to my husband but yet I needed someone to tell me so thank you. My tests were darker last night and tonight so I definitely need to chill and take a pause on the testing I'm just so excited. Does everyone get like this or am I just mad 🤣😅🥰
